Eleanor Calloway
Founding Partner
Eleanor founded the firm in 2011 after a decade in audit. She still runs the quality review on every year-end file.
Eleanor started Calloway Reed in 2011 with three clients and a simple promise: answer the phone, and close the books on time. Before that she spent ten years in audit, mostly with growing private companies that had outgrown their bookkeeper.
Today she leads the firm’s quality program. Every year-end package gets a partner review, and most of them still cross her desk.
Outside the office
She coaches a youth rowing team on the Chicago River and is, by her own admission, far too competitive about it.
